Sarah Donnelly
Company Director
I have dedicated my career to the NHS since the age of 20, beginning as a Healthcare Assistant while training as a student nurse. Following qualification, I spent five years working as a Staff Nurse within gynaecology, developing a strong foundation in women’s health and compassionate patient care.
I then progressed into Intensive Therapy Unit (ITU) nursing, where I worked for 15 years in a highly demanding critical care environment. During this time, I also undertook the role of Clinical Educator, supporting and mentoring staff while helping to maintain high standards of clinical practice and patient safety.
More recently, I have specialised in enhanced post-operative recovery, with a particular focus on orthopaedic surgery. Throughout my career, I have remained passionate about delivering high-quality patient-centred care, supporting multidisciplinary teamwork, and continually developing my clinical knowledge and skills.
My extensive experience across acute care, rehabilitation, patient education, and discharge planning has provided me with a deep understanding of the challenges individuals and families can face when managing health conditions within the community. Working closely with patients during vulnerable periods of recovery has strengthened my passion for supporting people to maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life outside of hospital settings.
These experiences have inspired me to establish a community support business focused on providing compassionate, person-centred companionship and practical support for older adults and individuals with additional needs. My clinical background, combined with years of hands-on patient care and leadership experience, has equipped me with the knowledge, empathy, and communication skills needed to deliver safe, reliable, and meaningful support within the community.
